I'm hoping you have a done a search to see what has already been posted on similar questions before.

Tbilisi - Yerevan: when i did this, we went to the bus station but caught a taxi since it was going to be faster and was only a few $ extra than the bus - we were 4 of us
Yerevan-Tbilisi: Rather than do the straight transport, I signed up for a day trip with Envoy tours which included stops at Haghpat & Sanahin monastaries and included lunch.
Haven't been to Baku but when researching trips between Tbilisi and Baku (last year) I was finding it fairly cheap to fly. Seems like tickets were around $40.

I haven't traveled to the Caucasus.

You might take a look at what Rome2Rio.com says about transport options. Don't trust the fares, travel times, or frequencies shown on that website. Keep drilling down to find the name (and usually a link to the website) of the transportation company on the route. Go there for more-accurate information.

Having been to Armenia and Georgia many many times, I must say that we always had a private driver take us there. When in Armenia I would make sure you don't miss Artsakh, it is sooo beautiful and just out of this world, people are very kind and generous. I found Armenians to be more welcoming then Georgians and Armenians were much more honest as well. Have fun, Armenian is one of a kind.

Hi IMA. Of the three places you mention, I have only been to Armenia. There is a main road that connects Armenia to Georgia. Not sure how easy it will be to get to Azerbaijan from Armenia as the two countries do not get along. Armenia is an absolutely lovely country, please make sure you spend enough time there. We hired Hyur Service, and they came up with the most amazing itinerary for us. Yerevan city tour, Lake Sevan, Dilijan, etc. So beautiful.
