Fake Japan Web Forms

Another guest on my cruise posted on Facebook that she has heard there are a lot of fake Japan Web Forms out there..

How can we tell a fake Japan Web form from the real one?

I am someone who really does not need any more fakes.

Boston - you are not required to fill out a form in advance if concerned. Having the form available on your phone may speed up the process - or not. You can do paperwork on arrival.

This is the website:

There is no fee involved. Anyone who is asked for a fee or for information that seems invasive or sensitive has undoubtedly found an scam website.

check the link posted by ORDTraveler.

Before entering Japan, you have to fill out a form. You can do it online to save some time but you can also do it paper and pen on the plane or at the airport.

Carole

I have heard that some get through immigration fast and others not so fast.

My arrival time is 4:30 a.m. Maybe it will not be very busy at that time, if I arrive on time.

Wait times are very random. I've been lucky both in 2024 and 2025, but it was at Kansai airport, not Tokyo.

If you plan to fill the paper form, make sure to travel with a pen and have it with you!

Thank you balso

I always have a pen with me, just in case ..... and paper also ..

Just in case is not limited to necessities or emergencies. Sometimes it includes making a new friend ... one never knows.
