Egypt Tour from Rome Advice, Please

Anyone know the best way to book a tour of Egypt/Nile cruise leaving from Rome? I'm in the US and have to figure it out before I go to Italy in September. Thanks a million! :))

Personally book a flight from Rome to Cairo and pick up the tour from there. I never buy a tour including flights, so that is my usual method. Mosst any tour company offer tours that start in the touring cou try, or are sold as 'land only'.
Are you flying back to Italy or directly home to US? If not returning to Rome, then price multi-city flight vs two one ways. Sometimes 2 one ways work out cheaper when flying between different continents.

You are very lucky that you are going to Rome! When we planned our trip to Egypt, we wanted to go ahead of the tour to get over jet lag. However, we did not want to go to to Cairo ahead of the tour. So we looked at all cities in Europe with flights to Cairo.
We chose Rome as it had flights to Rome in the daytime. All of the other European cities had flights that left at two a.m.m or three a.m. So it was an easy decision.
We flew from Rome to Cairo and I think we arrived in late afternoon. We had a private driver take us to the tour hotel in Cairo. It is a zoo at the airport! Hire a private driver ahead of your arrival! Then once at Cairo, you can connect with your tour at their designated hotel.
We spent two weeks in Egypt, such an amazing country. Then we spent four days in Jordan which included Petra. Also amazing!
We went with Odysseys Unlimited and loved every minute of our tour!

I'm also a bit confused about the leaving from Rome part. It would be a lot easier to find one leaving from Cairo.

@Badger, a fair number of US-based tour companies offer flights with tours, in which case the tour originates in the US. Perhaps OP is looking for similar flight+tour.

Those do exist in Europe as well. So if you keep looking you might be able to find one. But, a trip leaving from Rome will be geared to the Italian market, meaning all information will be in Italian and the guides will probably speak Italian.
