Flight leaving Dubai (DXB) at 01:00. Tour ends at 16:00 just prior to departure. Just wondering if many of the duty-free shopping and restaurants will be open late in the evening before we fly out.

Here is what Emirates, the dominant airline, says about duty-free shopping in its home airport. Note that you can buy duty-free on arrival as well as departure. I was startled by how much liquor was on sale in what is supposedly a mostly-dry emirate.
