We are starting to plan for a visit to DC for the big 250th anniversary celebration in July (July 4 weekend) 2026. I know it’s (the parade route, the festivities, etc.) still in the planning stage, but can anyone offer an opinion as to whether the parade is more likely to be on Pennsylvania Ave., Constitution Ave., or somewhere else? We were thinking of trying to book the Willard (with anticipated parade route on Pennsylvania) when reservations this far in advance are available (with the understanding that competition for hotel space will be unusually fierce). Any thoughts on projected parade route and/or this particular hotel choice for the weekend of July 4, 2026? Thanks in advance.
