I am flying from Munich to Newark tomorrow for the first time after the pandemic to eventually see my daughter and my "American family" again. Is the immigration procedure at EWR the same as before the pandemic (2019) or are there any special rules? Thank you for any advice.

Are you a non-US citizen? If so you need to show proof of vaccination and complete an attestation form.

Yes, thank you. Have uploaded the former to the LH website and printed out the latter.
