I'm looking for a travel agency to help plan a trip to Costa Rica, Panama and Belize. I'd like to plan a custom itinerary, not take a cruise, not be on a group tour. Any recommendations for a reputable agency?

The first time we went to Costa Rica, we used Adventure Life to help us plan it. They are not the cheapest way to go - but they were helpful, their tour package turned out great, with great private guides and great hotels.

I highly recommend Anywhere.com. This is what they do and they are good at it. We have used them for trips to Ecuador and Costa Rica. We know the owner personally and his company is highly reputable. We had to postpone our trip to Ecuador for two years because of COVID and we were credited the entire amount of our initial deposit towards our ultimate trip. You can tailor a trip to what you want to see and do, at various budget levels. They don't try to sell you on a pre-packaged deal.
