costa Rica for walkers not hikers

We will be traveling to Costa Rica in January. Our primary interest is in wild life, especially bird, viewing. We are walkers, not hikers and can not manage more than 2 miles at a time. If there is much elevation gain we would probably do no more than 1.5 miles. We can do more than one walk in a day with time to rest between.

WIth that in mind, I would love suggestions as to where we can do to maximize viewing on easy walks. We thinking of a 10 day trip but could add a few days to that.

There are several resort retreats in Costa Rica. Some folks in my yoga group go to a resort there almost every year. It is up winding mountain roads in the tropical forest, etc. They have monkeys, etc. They go on "walks" to close by waterfalls and swimming ponds.
I don't know the name offhand but I sure you can find this and similar online. They will pick you up from one of the towns on the beach. You may have to take a small plane to get there from main airport. You could of course, stay on the beach and hire a driver to take you up into the tropical forest.
