Considering a last minute trip to the Cook Islands in late August/early September. Was wondering:
Is there a pretty big difference between Rarotonga and Aitutaki? Everyone seems to rave about the latter...am I missing out by only going to the former since it sounds like it is expensive to take the additional flight to Aitutaki?
How big is the plane for the 30 minute ride to Aitutaki? Not a small plane person, so just want to know what to expect.
Looks like weather at this time of year is on the cooler side, but from what I can tell it still is worth going and having at least SOME hopes of sunbathing/swimming. Am I mistaken?
Favorite towns and/or hotels to stay in?
