Chile or Argentina for Solar Eclipse July 2, 2019

Is anyone here planning to go to Chile or Argentina to see the solar eclipse on July 2?

The path of totality is mostly over the Pacific Ocean but goes over Chile about 400 km north of Santiago. It will also be visible in the northeast corner of Argentina.

We have visited both countries and love them both. The NE corner of Argentina may be in a somewhat remote area?
You can't miss visiting either country, by why not visit both?

Spend a few days in Buenos Aires and then head to Santiago. South America is great, with great dining. Costs for hotel, meals, etc are low.

I have done science-museum backed tours for eclipses in Mexico, Turkey and China -- they handle the logistics like backup locations if the scheduled site gets clouded over. Did a road trip to Oregon in 2017, my husband's first totality, and joined a science museum event in Salem. Not going to this year's but with the one in Oregon we noticed a lot of people renting out spare bedrooms at inflated prices after the hotels got fully booked.
