My husband and I will have a ~ 7-hour layover in Singapore's Changi Airport next January and seek advice for how to spend the time.
We arrive from LAX (via NRT) at 0120, before we fly to Chiang Mai (Thailand) at 0900. Interested in hearing fellow traveler experiences and tips for resting and refueling options. Thank you!
It's not a great time to arrive- a lot of shops and attractions are closed. There are some 24hr places:

There are free rest chairs, but they tend to be busy. Lounges are another option. You'll still be more comfortable than in most airports, and there's enough 24hr food places to keep you well fed.
Are you in transit, or do you need to go airside? If so you need to complete the online Singapore arrival card.
Your best bet would probably be to research one of the Day Room options - of which there are several. As I recall at least one of them is inside the terminal so no need to clear security, etc.
They're quite nice - offering private rooms if you want to sleep in a real bed, as well as heavenly showers if you just want to treat yourself and generally want to feel human again after your long flight.
They can typically be booked in 2 to 4 hour blocks and are surprisingly affordable.
