I will be heading to Antarctica next year. The expedition begins in Buenos Aires, and I will go in a day early to avoid flight mishaps. As I will be on my own, after a long flight, I would like to use a car service to get to the hotel. Has anyone had experience with this, and do you have a service recommendation? Any help is appreciated.
I suggest asking your hotel to book a driver for you. We did that a few years ago and it worked out great. They told us how much ahead of time and at the time they said to pay in US$. I don’t know who your expedition is booked through but they may also be able to provide a referral. On our first trip to Argentina we had to change airports for a domestic flight and used a taxi at the International airport that worked out just fine. I do prefer a private driver when available. Have a great time in Antarctica - it’s on my bucket list!
Thanks. I didn’t even consider that as an option. When I book my extra night before the tour, I’ll ask about that as well.
