Car rental on Hawaii big island Oct 3 to Oct 8

Just scored a 5 day rental on the Costco Website. Mid July reserved full size for $927-5 day rental. Price went up after two weeks to $1025. Price went DOWN today to $386. Able to cancel first reservation at no cost. Pay at airport. Full size car (Chevy Malibu or similar) with Alamo.

Thanks for the hope. We just checked our January, nine day rental for Kauai and Costco prices are still about $200 higher than what we have reserved through Costco. We’ll keep checking back this fall and winter to see if the prices will come down as more cars get put back into service with rental companies.
