Cairo hotel recommendation

I’m flying into Cairo late October 2022 and would appreciate recommendations of a central Cairo hotel. I’m traveling solo, arriving a day before my tour, and the tour hotel they use appears to be full. Thanks.

We had a very good experience at the Fairmont Nile City on the banks of the Nile. If your room is on a higher floor, you get a view of the pyramids in the distance.
