Hello,
Does anyone have any recommendations on a good spot to rent a cabin with hiking, fishing, & some solid nature? We live in Dallas and have traveled to Possum Kingdom for some boating & camping.
I would appreciate any ideas.

Beavers' Bend area in Southeastern Oklahoma is great. Not too far from you, either. There are cabins, RV and tent sites, hiking trails, nature walks, fishing areas... Lake fishing as well as trout stream. Trout fishing, or any kind of fishing in the trout stream requires an extra license.
And some interesting sights in the area as well. I remember an amazing museum in Idabel, just south of there.
Lots of ticks, though... Not at the museum. But that shouldn't be a problem this time of year.
