We are in the early planning stages of a trip to Buenos Aires. I've never been! Any helpful suggestions?

How long do you plan to stay? We've been twice and both times rented apartments in the Palermo area--both were in neighborhoods not so far from the zoo. We like the museums (MALBA, Evita Museum), Recoleta Cemetery, San Telmo Market, tango, and restaurants.
On one trip we spent an overnight on an estancia--our experience wasn't the best so if that's something you're interested in, I'd do lots of research before you chose a place.
We've traveled to Argentina in November--springtime there! It's been great. For a future trip, I'd like to go to Uruguay.
