What are your thoughts about Bratislava? We will be in Vienna for 4 nights and thought about taking a river cruise to Slovakia for a day trip. This will be our second time to Vienna and don't know if we should take time away from that wonderful city to travel to Bratslava. Thanks.

It's only 39 miles to Bratislava from Vienna, and it's a great day trip. Since you've already been to Vienna once, you should know which travel sites you need to see, and hopefully you can get around more efficiently.
The hydrofoil between the cities takes about 1 hr. 15 minutes, and you catch it on the Danube east of St. Stephens Cathedral--The M3 Metro line has a station close by the docks.
We're going into Bratislava (2 nights) from Budapest and taking the hydrofoil into Vienna in April.
