Need suggestions on areas that are close to the beach and many cafes. I will be on foot. Any suggestions?

Placencia- great beaches, cute town, lots of food. We were there 10 years ago, so it's probably more developed. let me know if you have more questions.
we stayed at the Green Parrot Resort and didn't have a car for the 8 nights we were there.
