I'm looking for B&B and guesthouse recommendations within a 30-minute or so taxi ride to Boston Logan priced in the $150 or less range for June-July overnights. So far I've found the Chateau sur Mer in Winthrop, which looks promising, and would like to have other options to consider.
We'll need one or two rooms that ideally include breakfast and prefer to book directly with the facility rather than through a third party.

I cannot help you since I have never sought accommodations near Logan.
I fly to Logan at least once a year to visit my Daughter and her family that live on the outskirts several miles from downtown Boston.
Boston is a great place to visit with lots of history and charm. However, it is one of the worst cities for traffic in the USA. Also, the drivers are just about the rudest in the country.
Logan airport is not located in a suburban area, it is between downtown and the bay. I always take the Logan Express bus that takes me close to where my Daughter lives SW of Boston.
My advice is to find a place suitable to your needs and budget, but were you are not in traffic very long. Backups are common.
Are you planning to visit Boston sights? Do you want to be downtown, near public transportation? Or are you just looking for a one-night stopover near the airport?
I have stayed at one of the apartments listed here and enjoyed my visit. We picked up foods at the nearby Whole Foods and Star Market and enjoyed using the kitchen in the studio. It's in the Back Back, near Copley Plaza, walking distance from the BSO, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Public Library, restaurants, etc., and a long walk or short ride on the T to the North End.

I also booked a stay through this service, and it was excellent. I think these sites do not book direct, only use this service for their reservations. Again, its advantage is location for sightseeing in the heart of Boston.
