Avianca/Colombia questions

Hi all. Just booked a tour to Colombia for Dec. discovered great prices on non stop air from NYC ($500 less than tour co. offered.). Tried to boom with Avianca and clicked "pay" and then nothing! Page error message in Spanish. Called them and was told 'web site doesn't work well with a Mac. Do you have a Windows computer?" Hmmm. Hard to believe right? Anyway, wondering if others have had good/bad luck with this airline. Also comments about Colombia also appreciated. Trip covers Bogota, Medellin, coffee plantation area and Cartagena.

Comments/thoughts?

Avianca is a really nice airline, new planes, good service, nice food and they are usually on time.
As for the webpage, I've always used it on a mac with no problems, maybe you can try with another browser? I think that could be more the issue than the OS.

Lovely places you are planning to visit, do you have any specific questions?

Thanks for the response! Just "can't miss" places/restaurants etc. in all places. We are going to arrive one day early in Bogota so will have an extra day for sightseeing. It will be the same time zone so shouldn't be anything but sleep deprived on arrival (taking overnight flight). And plan to take altitude sickness med since it's been a while since I've been at 8,000-10,000 feet!

The changing of the guards outside the presidential palace in Bogota is worth seeing. Also, taking the funicular up and the gondola down or v/v to the church on the top of the hill overlooking Bogota is well worth doing.
