Just a heads-up for anyone who will be in Argentina over the next few days. We flew into Buenos Aires from Patagonia last Friday at the end of a wonderful hiking trip. Some in our group had tickets to fly home on April 6 and were advised by an agent of our tour provider of the impending general strike. Our friends were able to change their tickets to a different day but only with much effort---there were few options left. But even if you are not flying to on that day you will likely feel the impact, especially on public transport.
