We will have an entire day in Jakarta next July as we travel through this part of the world. We will most likely stay at the hotel airport since we are traveling with a lot gear. We have basically all Sunday morning and afternoon to run around before an evening flight.
I am thinking of hiring a guide for the day to see sights that are unique and important in Jakarta. We just got our airline tickets and now know what the timing is.
If you’ve been to Jakarta and have any ideas to share, we welcome them. In addition, safety is a concern and we aren’t looking to go off the beaten path. We just enjoy city vibes, don’t spend hours in museums, like to shop and pick up a momento unique to that place. If you’ve used a guide, recommendations are appreciated.
