Any flag aficionados?

When I travel to a new country, I always try to get a photo of a flag and/or video of it flying in the breeze. I enjoy trying to remember the flags of the places I've been (and not been).

I found this website: https://shaheeilyas.com/flags/ and tried to quiz myself. This is really hard, but I did get a few of them.

If you prefer identifying the actual flags, try this: https://www.jetpunk.com/quizzes/flags-of-the-world-quiz

And if you prefer multiple choice, https://world-geography-games.com/en/flags_world.html. (With this one, you can limit it to just Europe (or any other continent.)

Sorry, but I'm a bit of a trivia buff, so I enjoy these kinds of quizzes. Is anyone else a flag aficionado?

Sheldon Cooper is. 😂 😂 😂

Seriously, I do like flags, although I don't think I'm as much of an aficionado as you are. Thanks for the links! There are times where I need to look up flags, and this will be helpful.

I do something similar: I put a sticker of the flag of every country I have been to on my car.

I've been to 23 countries. However, I have 24 stickers on my car. Though I have the Union Jack on my car, I decided to add a sticker of the Scottish flag. I felt the addition was justified. In May/June this year, I spent a couple nights on Iona Island in Scotland. It was my second visit to Scotland. And in 1999, the UK transferred considerable powers back to Scotland.

I have visited 84 foreign countries and have collected small flags from many, but my wife didn't like me showing them, so I stopped doing that. I just didn't have a good space for them.

X2

I like flags. I have a few full size ones, and some aren't necessarily current state or country flags anymore. I like to fly them outside for specific holidays even if the significance of a particular holiday may be lost on passers-by.

My grandmother used to fly the Danish flag outside their home for Danish holidays. I don't know which cousin has that flag now. Wish I did.
