Andean tours designed for locals

I would like to visit Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay at some point in the next year or so. Ideally, I will spend a week in each of the capital cities, but I would like something else as well: another week spent in the magnificent countryside. For the last part, I would like to join a tour, ideally one that is designed for locals, leaving from either Santiago or Buenos Aires. I suspect this will give me more flexibility than signing on for a tour designed for Americans that may not fit easily into the rest of my travels.

Anyone have any ideas of tour - mountain trek, waterway tour, hiking, van travel - companies based in either of those cities?

Yes, of course I speak Spanish.

Thank you.

I hope this does not sound too simple,, but could you not Google to find a few agencies in either of the capital cities and inquire about tours?

Like this one, for example:

I did use a local agent for a stay in Buenos Aires about 20 years ago but I can't remember the name. If I find it, I will post..they were excellent;

When I was in Argentina about 12 years ago, I spent a few days in Salta, which is in a northwest mountainous region. From Salta, there were many outits that offered a range of bus, van, jeep, hiking and other day tours and I think some over nght tours into the mountains. They had options for several languages including English and Spanish. I did a small van tour that include the two English speakers I was traveling with plus 4 italians. We used a local tour company that was recommended by our B&b.
