Hello, Iam new to this forum, and would like to share my vacation experiences. Me and my wife went on a Princess Cruise, which included a land tour. The land tour was the first week. The cruise the 2nd week. I never had done a land cruise. I would highly recommend doing one sometime if you have the chance. Everything went so smooth. Your luggage, accommodations, rides on the bus and train. Our guide was excellent. One of the places he took us was Denali National Park. It was the most beautiful park I’ve ever been to. We saw caribou, a red fox. A grizzlies bear but the bear was far away. It was a treat and luck to see Mt Denali. Our guide says only 30 percent are lucky to see this mountain. For us it was 3 days of it being visible. Total we stayed at 3 different lodges. One was Copper River, the other Denali Ldge and the last Mt McKinley Lodge. Our cruise was very nice as well. My only disappointment was Glacier Bay NP looked totally different when I was there 11 years ago. A lot of the glaciers had melted. Anyway I will share and write more about vacations. Take care, Larry**
Larry, welcome to the forum and thank you for taking the time to share with us about your vacation. I was happy to hear you saw so many animals and had a great view of Denali.
Thank you so much for the reply We are getting older but we do love to travel. I would recommend Alaska. Very beautiful state.
Three days of seeing Denali! You were lucky. I’ve seen it but never for that long. AK is beautiful. Welcome to the forum.
Thank you Lyndash
