Air Canada Strike Ends. Hallelujah!

A tentative agreement reached between the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) representing Air Canada’s Flight Attendants and the company means flights will resume today. The agreement provides pay for “ground work” performed by the flight attendants before planes have pulled away from airport gates and after landing at their destinations.

The tentative agreement brings an end to the three-day strike and means Air Canada flights will begin resuming later today. It will be several days before Air Canada is able to resume its full flight schedule.
