Hi. We are attending a wedding in Brazil (Buzios) in early July 2023. We plan to stay down there another 2-3 weeks after and travel into Argentina, maybe Chile, possibly Peru. Can you recommend a travel company or individual agent who could help us assemble a trip? We're open to joining set tours, or putting together something custom-made. We find the assistance of an informed agent invaluable (especially in non-RS countries). Thanks.

We don't use a travel agent for our trips, but we do purchase tours.
We have been to South America four times visiting all the countries you mentioned except for Brazil.
Peru is our favorite SA country. Cusco and Machu Picchu are must sees. We did a wonderful four day complete PRIVATE tour with Peruagency.com and loved it. Cost for four day, three nights was $799 pp. Our hotels were great, almost all are meals were included and we had a private guides (all university educated).
Our other favorite was cruise around Cape Horn from Buenos Aires to Chile. Further, we did a great cruise of the Galapagos Islands with Celebrity.
One thing, if you do go to a travel agent, I suggest doing your own research to some degree prior to going to travel agent in the USA. We have found SA to be about the cheapest continent to tour. However, when we priced tours that included Machu Picchu and compared them, we found many of the US based tour companies were WAY more expensive than the Peruvian tour company we selected (Peruagency).
