Accommodation Quebec City

My Wife and I will be visiting Quebec City Canada end of May for seven nights. Any accommodation suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated, we prefer the old town, B&B's or apartment rental???. Much appreciated---------

Auberge du tresor is nice and right across from le Chateau Frontenac. Close to lots of sightseeing, shopping, restaurants etc.

I stayed in Apartment 3 (see below link). The owner could not have been nicer and the location was terrific - walking distance to everything and inside the old walls. The little kitchen was very helpful for storing food and warming it up - I loved the apartment. It does have a steep set of stairs going up though, if that's a consideration. The other downside may be with parking - it's difficult inside the walls but there are garages/parking areas very close by. I did not have a car with me but rented one close by (at the Hilton) for a day trip.

We stayed at the Hotel du Vieux-Quebec which is on Rue St Jean in Old Town. Loved it. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere (except Montmorency Falls, St Anne de Beaupre & the Island of course). Our room was perfect, the breakfast basket on our door every morning was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel, and its the #1 hotel in Quebec City on Trip Advisor too. We loved Quebec City. Enjoy your stay!
