I have a 13 hour layover in Seoul in the middle of the day. I'm a US citizen. Do I have time to leave and go see anything? Am I allowed to leave and reenter? Is there anything near by to see?
Thanks!
If you are flying on Korean Air, don’t they offer Seoul city tours to their passengers with lengthy layovers? I have heard good things about those tours.
I have not heard that yet. Will check into it.
Thanks!
Yes, they actually arrange tours of the city for you at the airport. They have various lengths, anywhere from 2-8 hours. I did a 6 hour tour and really was able to see and learn a lot. I wish I did the 8 hour tour. I think they do long layovers in Korea for a reason: easy tourism. Nice way to break up a long flight and help with jetlag.
