http://www.blundstone.ca/ (this is a Canadian site, but you can probably find a site for your country).

I am on my third pair of Blundstones in about 10 years. I've had the 510 (original), the 068 (chisel toe) - which is a little dressier...but something happened to the toe and they gave me a credit for them and I am currently wearing the leather lined 587 - which I have almost worn the soles out - I'll probably go back to the 510 for my new pair.

I wear them winter, spring and fall (basically July and August are the two months I don't wear them)....in rain and snow. I have NEVER had a leakage issue. They look great with jeans, maybe a casual khaki type pant, and braver souls than me wear them with long and short casual skirts. They are just a nice basic looking slip on boot (bonus at the airport - easy on and off!). I tend to travel mid-Sept, and I ALWAYS take them with me.

I worked at a shoe store where we sold them, and when we first started selling them, I didn't get what the big deal was - they felt like rain boots to me when I tried them on. After a few years, I finally got myself a pair - and totally understood the hoopla. They take some breaking in, as they can be tight on the top of the foot (not good if you have wide feet or a high instep) and there can be slipping in the heel - in 95% of cases, this will go away as the boot stretches and molds to your foot. And they should come with an extra insole so if they slip too much you can pop it in to tighten them (they used to anyways - it's been 5 yrs since I sold shoes).

I do not yet have a pair of Bluntstones but a good friend loves hers. I love my Ecco Biom black walking shoes; a bit boring looking but have a thick sole good for standing and walking on pavement. There are other more fashionable Ecco's.

I have a new pair of Clark's wave walking shoes that are comfy. I bought them specifically for a European trip.

Many European wear fashionable sneakers. I am always tempted to buy new sneakers in Europe as they have different styles than we have available here.

I have Merrell Moab hiking shoes/boots and I love them.....no break in period needed at all. I also have a pair of Sketcher Memory Foam shoes which are quite comfortable but not as supportive....and finally I really like my slip-on Clark's Walking Shoes (Wave Run).
