I thought I'd share my delight in my new acquisition! I tend to like flip flops on vacation for the hotel. But, for my next trip while I wanted some shoes I could wear swimming or on a beach, I was also hoping that I could switch them in for walking about town, especially since we will spend just a little time at the beach. I wanted something light that would take up a small amount of room. I love Chacos but they are heavy and take up a fair amount of space. I came upon these Tevas. They are super light, with some arch support. The straps fold down flat, and the soft, spongy foot bed is more comfy than chacos. They are also a bit more stylish than a chaco or a more utilitarian hiking sandal. I purchased the port color. I feel like they run true to size and would work for most widths. I ordered a 7. In theory, my size would be a 6 1/2 W, so these are a bit long, but didn't come in half sizes. I see that Nordstom is low on stock but I've seen them elsewhere.
