Can anyone recommend supportive sandals that can work with jeans or skirts? I'm looking for a happy walking sandal that works for lots of tourism walking (no chafing!) yet could work for semi dressy (nice casual) dinners out in Paris in June. Thanks in advance!
I have these, and they are very comfortable on long walks. The website has many colors and different variations. Good luck!
I LOVE my croc sandals (I call them crocdals) for walking a lot in the summertime. They look like regular, fashionable sandals but instead of the suede or leather insole (which stain and get smelly/sweaty), they have a rubber insole. Easy to clean and SO comfortable. I could walk like 10 miles in my crocdals. I'm bringing them on my 2-month European trip this summer. Here's what I have:

Only sandle I have taken to Europe 3X. Cork sole, comes in wide if you need it, many colors. Loooks great with anything. Adjustable straps, great support.

I have these SAS sandals and they have worked great for lots of walking in Paris streets. My feet are very picky, so a comfortable sandal is a must for me. They are supportive for walking but still look ok with skirts. They come in several colors.

I’ve had good luck with the Aetrex brand. They have good arch support which I need to keep by plantar fasciitis from flaring up. I have the “Jess” in black which has a little bit of sparkle on one of the bands. The “Jillian” and “Gabby” seem to be very popular in that brand.
Here's a previous post similar to yours that has a lot of suggestions. FWIW, I love my Jambu sandals - they're great for walking but dressy enough for dinner.
I’ve worn my Munro Pisces sandals all over Europe for the last seven years (not the same pair). They come in a variety of colors but my favorite is black patent.

Sarah Murdoch has a video about this subject. I bought the Sketchers strappy sandals that she recommended in the video.
I like them at the end of the day or for a short period of time, but I don't know if I would wear them for a long day of walking, but then I don't wear sandals often.
Thank you all for the good tips!
