Ladies, has anyone worn Vionic City Walker sneakers on your European adventures? They look like an interesting option, and I generally like Vionics. I’m traveling this spring to Germany and the Czech Republic.
By the way, my feet are on the wider side of medium, and as I get older I appreciate a wider toe box.
The most important thing about shoes is to get a pair that fits your feet and is very comfortable. Cushioning is nice and a tread to help you avoid slipping on wet cobblestones.
Yes, of course.
My purpose in asking is to see if anyone can share “on-the-ground” experiences with this particular style before I order (beyond online reviews, if possible).
I’ve taken various walking shoes to Europe, with varying levels of success, and I’ve been researching alternatives.

This is me!
I have bought 3 pairs of different Vionic slip-on styles in the past 6 months, and I plan on buying a pair of the City Walkers next. I have high arches, and the Vionics provide enough support with no need to insert anything more. The medium width works for me.
Vionics do run large. I need a half-size smaller than my regular size.
It's not what you were looking for, but I hope this comment is helpful.
Thank you for your info, Estimated Prophet (and thank you for your question that prompted the response, MusicandTravel!). I have been thinking about Vionics too, so your information is really helpful for me.
I have only recently stopped wearing Vionics! Honestly, I would buy them (and wear them in Europe) again, but I did one of the foot analysis stores by request of a family member and they didn't carry the brand. I've never had a problem with them and have used them to walk the UK, Italy, and several US cities and large theme parks.
