Tiosebon shoes

A good friend and her husband both wear these as their “everyday” shoes and highly recommend them, so I thought I’d give them a try. I bought the slip-ons in grey, like the ones on the opening page:

I have to say I am impressed, especially considering the price—-$35. They are super lightweight, comfortable for walking on hard surfaces, attractive, and happen to fit my foot perfectly. I have not worn them on long multi-mile walks—I have good shoes for that already—-but I believe they will be useful for travel as a second pair for days with light walking .

Those look nice! I just ordered two pair as they had an offer of 10% off for two, and the shipping was free so why not try them?

So it's says "sock-like" fit - is that true? I have a wide foot so I have to be careful with shoes because many are uncomfortable. Do you think they would stretch enough and still work okay and be comfortable? I do like the look of them. In fact, they would be great here at home, too.

ETA: Just checked and they're only 5 oz - nice!

I guess the “sock-like”fit is because they are knit, and slightly stretchy. I can’t say how they would feel on a wide foot—-I have narrow feet in a small size. I think it would depend on how your foot fits on the footbed/sole, which is not stretchy.

Thanks, Lola! I checked and they do not allow returns or exchanges, which seems strange for a place that sells shoes. However, they do have an Amazon store and some of the shoes are eligible for the Prime Try Before you Buy program, so that sounds like an option.

Mardee, I had not noticed that about returns. So much for assuming that the usual terms apply. If you can order from Amazon, that would be good. I have come to prefer Amazon (which I can claim as “shopping local” in Seattle) for some products due to the easy return policy.

Ha, that's a good rationale, Lola! I sort of feel like that with Target, which is based in Minnesota. :)

I did order a pair from the Amazon page - not the Try Before You Buy but just a regular order, but it offers free returns, so I'll check the size there and see how they work. The reviews are good so that's encouraging. It was a few dollars more on Amazon but I'd rather pay a bit more than buy a size that doesn't fit and not be able to return it. :)

I just bought a pair, and they come in wide sizes on amazon. I take wide sizes in shoes and they feel great. I'm taking them on our trip to Normandy in May as my second pair.

UPDATE: I just received my shoes from Amazon and tried them on. First, they feel like I'm wearing a cloud - seriously! Sadly, the length was a too long. I ordered a regular size 10 (which is my normal size) but I think I'm going to return them and get a size 9 1/2. I'm still debating whether to get the wide - right now it feels very comfortable in the width and even has some extra give, so I think I will try the regular 9 1/2 and see what happens.

I love these shoes!

Add'l Update: Just received my size 9.5's and they work perfect - I love them! They even included a set of footies in there that would fit maybe a size 4 shoe but I guess it's the thought that counts. 🤣

Mine arrived while I was away this week. I tried them on last night and sadly they are way too big. I bought them from the website, so no returns. I will see if anyone on our neighborhood Facebook page would want them. I looked at Amazon, but they didn't have any in my size (6) for the style I wanted. I will keep looking though as they felt very comfy!

Has it been more than a week since they arrived, because you were away? Their policy allows return/exchange for wrong size within a week.

Customer's Responsibility:
1.Incorrect order(size of the item)

If the customer has ordered an incorrect size or product, we can also allow a return. In this case:
(1)For an exchange, the customer will be responsible for the shipping fee to send us back. we will cover >shipping fees for sending a replacement shoe.

(2) For the refund, the customer will be responsible for the shipping fee to send us back. and we will deduct a >flat Processing Fee of USD 5.00 each pair shoe when we refund money to every client
NOTE: The shoes are only returnable within 7 days of delivery.

What size does it say inside the shoe? They are listed on the website in US sizes, but the shoes are labeled in the European equivalent. So if you ordered 6.5, they should say 37 inside, in the heel. If you are posting them in your local Buy Nothing group on Facebook, you could include that information.

And if you don’t find a taker, you could bring them to the Seattle Eastside Book & Map exchange, which I hope the weather will allow in early May. If they are slip-on style size 37, I might be interested, depending on the color.

In the meantime, Amazon has the slip-on style in size 6 for $23 in some colors, such as light grey.

Lola--Thank you for that information! I just sent them an email. I bought 38's, which is a 7, but they are enormous so I asked for 36's as I think even the 37's would be too big. Hopefully they will do it, and if not oh well:)

Lola--I received an email back and they will replace the shoes! So I will package the two pair up today and send them off. Thank you again for the suggestion!

Well the replacements took forever to get here, but they arrived yesterday and I love them! They were so nice about the swapping of sizes, so I cannot complain.
