Shoes on tour

On our previous RS tours my sandals have been fine, but I really listened to the advice for the tour of Greece, you don’t need hiking shoes but you absolutely need decent lace up runners or something that gives your feet good support and is non slip, believe them when they say the ancient marble is slippery, the Keens I saw seemed to get full of little stones , me I don’t care for runners but wore them every day for any excursion and needed them. For the evenings I had my very comfortable Croc sandals, the ones that have a slight wedge and leather straps, they look dressy but I could go all day in Spain and Italy in them, with the packing limitations you want to make sure every shoe does a ton of work, and babies your feet. You will just hold up the group if you are hobbling along in shoes that are unsuitable
