I have runners with orthotics for active days...considering getting either...
Walking sandals with high arch
Or
Birkenstocks giza or 2 strap
I want to have these for less stressful walking days/flying/etc
Tips?

I am currently in Europe and due to the hot weather I am wearing my high arch sandals most days. They are much more comfortable than the sketchers I brought, which are very comfortable.
Thanks Letizia...from another Letizia LOL
I have a pair of Finn Comfort sandals which I bought because they had a removable foot bed so that I could wear my custom orthotics.
I don't need to wear my orthotics as frequently now, but I found that to be a good solution for a couple of years.
I only take one pair of Merrell low-cut hiking shoes with me to Europe most of the time, but if we're going to beaches I take along a pair of Chaco sandals as well.
Take both sandals, I packed two pairs even though I was packing light. Half way through my trip last year I ended up switching sandals and my feet were very happy. Sandals #1 were well broken in but the soles proved to be too slippery and everall not very comfortable. So glad I had the extra pair with me and I didn't have to go shoe shopping.
I take clarks, vionics, or abeo. If it is warmer weather, 2 pair, 1 pair otherwise
