I read the article and nowhere do I see anyone advocate bringing five pairs of shoes?

My bad....hauling ALL recommended shoes each trip is not stated in the article. Speed reading class must be re-taken. Seven different pairs of shoes for travel?

I probably have at least four pairs of shoes for travel depending on the season. For example, I might take sandals in the summer and certainly wouldn’t take them in the winter and I would take boots in the winter. I wouldn’t take those in the summer.
