Remember those Costco Skechers?

I have been looking high and low to find replacements of those shoes for an upcoming trip. On our last trip I walked miles and miles in those shoes in dry, wet, slippery and rocky terrain and they were absolutely perfect. I sprayed them with a couple of coats of NikWax and they were then waterproof as well. One trip was enough to wear them down though, so I have been on a quest.
I have not seen them in Skechers stores, in department stores or at the usual online locations like Zappos or Amazon. However, today I believe I have found them on Amazon. They are a few dollars more than the amazing Costco price, but still very reasonable. I am strong believer that even with problem feet and osteoarthritis like I have, you don't have to spend a fortune to find walking shoes that work.

I don't know which ones were sold at Costco but the ones pictured on your link look very much (not exactly) like my Skechers GoWalk 3s that I bought at Macy's a couple years ago. I live in these shoes. If I'm not wearing these shoes, my feet hurt. If I am wearing these shoes, they do not hurt. Simple as that. I have not gone on a trip with them yet, but when I do go, they will be on my feet! Check out Macy's. They probably have a GoWalk 4 model now. Good luck.

I bought them based on great reviews.....

I have problem feet.

These can be used to walk the dog. Anything longer would be painful!

It is true that all Skechers are "not created equal". The only ones that have worked this well for me were the ones that Costco sold last year. As many other people noted at the time, those shoes did not have any clear marking that denoted what "generation" of Go Walks they were, so it has been difficult to replace them. I recently bought a different pair of Skechers that created a blister on the bottom of my foot almost immediately. A clerk at a Skechers store told me that with each generation of Go Walks the shoes are being made narrower and less "spongy". That is why I am glad I located a potential replacement of an older generation because wider and more cushioned is what I need. They are definitely not attractive but to be able to walk miles a day and not even think about my feet is worth it.

I just looked at my sketchers (wearing them) and they are called "Go Steps" with "Gogo Pillars" which are these little nubs that stick out of the sole of the shoe to provide even more cushion with each step. I just love these ones. The pair I wore last year to Europe were just fine to use this year, except I went to the beach in them and got tar all over them, totally ruined. We have a sketchers outlet about an hour away from us, so I just purchased the exact same pair. Happy feet!

You are talking about dear skesh. On Amazon there is a separate position for the cross, walking or skating. The model, which you say will cost you a few hundred dollars.

I bought the ones Letizia posted a pic of for our upcoming trip to Italy. I bought mine in the black uppers on black lowers version.
Been wearing them on walks and to work and they are very comfy. I bought another pair of Skechers that I'll also be taking, but they are a little less comfy. Both purchased from our Skechers outlet.

I'm jealous you can wear these shoes on trips.
I love my sketchers go walks but they do not provide near enough arch support for my feet. I tried them at Disney and had to change.
I'd love a pair with more arch support!

Brookw97, I have the same problem with skechers, which I love, so I now buy them 1/2 size larger and insert a good arch support - best of both worlds.
