Question for women Finn Comfort shoe wearers

I have now tried on virtually every brand of shoe recommended for travel and so far the winning shoe is the Finn Comfort Ikebukuro (figures since it's the most expensive). I normally wear a 6 or 6.5 in shoes depending on type but found with the ample foot shaped toe box of the Ikebukuro, the 6, which is my actual measured she size fits really well and the 6.5 feel a bit sloppy on my foot and tend to rub more.

I would also like to grab a pair of Finn Gomera sandals to try as people seem to love them, but am not sure about what size to get from Zappos. Zappos shows the 36 as a 5.5 - 6 and the 37 as a 6.5 - 7, but the Finn Comfort site shows the 36 as 5 - 5.5 and the 37 as a 6 - 6.5. I'm not sure if I should order the 36 or 37. I also have narrow heels and can sometimes run out of adjustment on a sandal.

Anyone here wear both or can anyone give me some guidance on the fit of that sandal?

Not that specific sandal---but I have similar-sized feet (6-6.5) with a narrow heel, and always wear 1/2 size smaller in sandals than in shoes. So a 36 in European sizes, no matter how the company converts it to US sizes.

But with Zappos you can always order two sizes and return the one that doesn't work.

I have the Finn Gomera sandals which I bought specifically because the footbed is removable and will fit my orthotics. I can't answer your specific size question (as I'm more of a 41-43 depending on the shoe) but mine are a 41 so perhaps they run a little large ...?
As to the heel adjustment, mine have a buckle for the back heel strap, and you could always add another hole if needed for the fit.
I've never yet used Zappo's since there are so many great shoe stores near where I live, but ordering several sizes and returning the one that doesn't fit is what lots of folks do with great success.
Do be sure that you break them in before traveling with them. They are very well made, but the leather is a bit stiff at first.

As the first responder said, given Zappos shipping policies, you may want to to order two pairs and return the one that does not fit. However, that being said, I bought my daughter and myself each a pair of similar sandals (the Milos). We are the opposite of you -- large feet and not particularly narrow heels. We bought the sizes that Zappos said and found it to be accurate though the sandals ran a tiny bit large. We could not get the sandal strap to adjust enough to keep the sandal as fitted on our feet as we like because the sandal straps closed with snaps and not a buckle so we could not adjust the sandals by adding another hole for the buckles.
