I need advice on what kinds of shoes to look at for walking around in the heat.y daughter and I both need to purchase something for our long walks. Help.

I typically take 2 good pairs of sneakers/running shoes and 1 pair of walking slip ons like Keen. In any case, make sure, you use them at least a week before you take them. I also have a custom removable orthotics for my running shoes. In this way, you don't need to spend much on a shoe that has built in support.
