We need warm socks for our winter trip to Europe. While explore the subject on the wbeb, People Socks keep popping up. Has anyone used them? Do they keep your feet warm??

Never heard of People Socks. Hop on over to Costco and buy wool socks on the cheap or go to REI and buy better quality ones.

I don't have them but they get great reviews and what a price for 75% merino wool! If I didn't already have a bunch of socks I'd order them.

I'll second Bruce's suggestion for the Kirkland brand merino wool socks at Costco. Last year they were something like 4 pr for $12.99. I do find that they don't last more than about a year and a half and I wear them a LOT-perhaps from Oct until May (or on in to June this year!). They would be fine for your trip. They also have some nylon in them that helps to speed drying if you sink wash.
