Leather Ahnu walking shoes for summer?

Hello,

I'm planning on visiting a variety of destinations (Iceland, Ireland, France, Belgium) this summer (June), and want a pair of shoes that will basically do it all. I'm considering my Ahnu walking shoes - but they're leather and I'm worried about hot feet. My second pair of shoes that I'm planning on bringing is a pair of strappy Teva's that are super comfortable for walking in, as well. Between these two pairs, will I be ok? (I have some light Sketcher Bob's, but those don't seem substantial enough) Any insights would be welcomed and helpful! Thanks!

I love my leather Ahnu walking shoes. They work great on pavement, cobblestone, or mountain paths. I’ve worn them in Europe on several trips in June and August and never felt like my feet were hot.

Thanks for your reply. I love my Ahnu shoes, too, and feel they can go anywhere in great comfort. I was worried about hot days, however, I can always use my sandals for those, if encountered. Thanks!

What style of Ahnu walking shoes do you have/recommend?

I have a pair of Ahnu Montara II waterproof hiking shoes. They're super sturdy and fit really well. I'm thinking this is the pair I'll take as my main walking/hiking shoe.

You have your Teva's for days when you feel your other shoes may be too hot. I've walked 10+ miles in my Teva sandals and my feet have been fine.
