First Time in Switzerland

We are very excited to go to Switzerland. The itinerary we are following is as follows (Mid May):

Do share your suggestions on the below. And also if there are any castle accommodation on this route.

Day 1 and 2: Land in Geneva: Move to Montreux (two nights stay). Must see places around??

Day 3 & 4: Lake Thun (2 nights) Must see places around??

Day 5 & 6: Lucern (2 nights) Must see places around??

Day 7: Lucern to Zurich (outbound flight at 7 am in the morning)

Look forward to your response.

An unusual itinerary. Why are you basing in Montreux, when you should just keep going via the Golden Pass to the Lauterbrunnen area? I assure you, that city is OK but has little going for it. Castle Chillon is located on the outskirts.

There's plenty to see and do in Lucerne and surrounding, do you have a guidebook yet? Hint hint, Rick publishes one.

It takes about a hour to go from Lucerne to Zurich by train. If your flight leaves at 7:00 am, you will have to catch a pretty early train from Lucerne. Are you sure you want to spend your last night in Lucerne before departing?

Looks like you have 6 nights. Spend 3 or 4 of those in Lauterbrunnen Valley or surrounding alpine villages of Murren or Wengen. SPend the remaining nights in Lucerne.

Basically agree with Tim. 4 nights Berner Oberland and 2 nights Lucerne.
