After reading through all these women's shoe posts and reviews on-line, I went with the Walking Cradles (Andie)
in black, They are super comfortable. Went to the shoe store and was properly fitted for them. Honestly, cannot look at any more shoe posts and need to stop stressing about my feet. I will report back on how they do when we get back! Thanks again for everyone's help!

It looks like from your other thread that your travel time is near. I hope you can get out and do a long walk in them before you go!
I like the faux croc patent on them.
I have two weeks to go. I am going to wear them to work and to the mall. The mall is the best test for my feet. With the uneven flooring my feet usually are killing me.
Congrats on finding your shoes. We all know what a complete nightmare it can become. Have a great trip. Also..you might want to walk around in the house with some thicker socks to loosen them up if needed.
With new shoes, I recommend breaking them in by wearing them every-other day. This gives your feet time to make the adjustment, with less chance of developing blisters.
After reading all the good advice on this site, I finally bought sketchers go walks2. I LOVE them!! So comfy and nice! Can't wait to leave on our Sept. trip!
I actually bought two pairs of the Skechers Go Walks for the trip and have them home....now have to return them. After putting on these Walking Cradles, there is no comparison (for me). There is much better support and comfort.
I finally after ordering and sending back 9 pairs of shoes, went to a shoe store and ended up with a pair of semi sandal type loafer from Cobb Hill. The only thing that I find with Sketchers is I wear them around town all the time and the go Walk is great, but with really no arch support they are fatiguing on my feet when doing the kind of walking you will do in Italy. I would still try to find a shoe with a bit of an arch support and also take your Go Walk to trade off with.
