Hi! I am looking for cute shoes with arch support. I have really high arches and I wear orthotics with lace up shoes, but I am looking for sandals or mary janes for walking around cobblestone streets. Does anyone have any recommendations? I like Cobb Hill and they are comfortable for light use, but there is not enough arch support for heavy walking. Vionics are good too, but the uppers are cheaply made.
I too have high arches and sympathize with your plight. No ballerina flats for us!
On our last trip to Europe in October-November 2015, I walked everywhere in a pair of Blondo Anelie boots, including the entire Ringstrasse in Vienna. They have incredible arch support. They wouldn't work for a summer trip to Europe, but I would definitely recommend them for traveling in cooler weather. Plus, they are extremely cute.
Hi,
These aren't what I would call "cute" but they are not ugly and they worked well for me in Greece this fall, Clarke's Wave Wisk.

I wore a pair of Black New Balance Tennis Shoes and a pair of Fit Flops (not great arch support - but were my "cute" shoes)
I didn't bring these on the last trip but Abeo & Merrels have some pretty good arch support.

I too have high arches and was developing plantar fasciitis, my podiatrist recommended Sole custom inserts. You just heat in the oven and mold to your foot. Now as long as the shoe is comfy and has a removable insert, I am good to go!
I too have graduated to needing to wear my orthotics most of the time.
I found Finn Comfort sandals work for me. They have a removable footbed so that my orthotics fit in the shoe.
They are lightweight with a good walking sole; and they are CUTE.
They were expensive but they are very well made and should last for many years.
You can probably still find them on line at The Walking Company.
Spira shoes have coil springs in the heel and forefoot and good support. They are amazing. I have T-straps that they no longer make, but now they have this Mary Jane:
I love my Abeo maryjane style shoes. They look cute, have athletic style vibram soles and pretty good arch support. I feel very stable in them.
Thanks! I am just going to order all the suggestions from Zappos. Traveling is SO much more enjoyable with happy feet :)
Hi also have high arches and big feet (10 1/2) and I'd rather have happy feet than cute feet. But I wear Superfeet insoles. They are around $50 or $60 at outdoor/running stores (REI). The black ones have the high arch supports.
I always wear Naot sandals for traveling. I have high arches and plantar fasciitis and I can wear these all day every day. I always buy the ones with low cork wedges and the ones that have enough straps to stay on my feet no matter what - running for trains, climbing up and down, walks on or off pavement. No slides/mules. They have lots of styles and colours, and I think they are cute. Not one of the ten or so pairs I own have ever rubbed blisters. Beauty of course is in the eye of the beholder, but since there's so much choice, something should catch your eye.
I wanted sandals, but I also wanted to insert my own orthotic, so I found some great solutions from Jambu. They are like sandals, but come up a bit on the sides to hide the orthotic. And they're cute, great for walking, very cushiony! I have these:

I have a few pair of Vionics and found some are made better than others...I wore the

for a ridiculously long time before the dog ate it. Have fun!
