Casual memory-foam type shoes

I have been trying to find memory-foam type casual flats, like the ones Skechers makes. I tried on a pair made by Easy Spirit, but unfortunately, neither Skechers nor ES fit my feet well.

I want to wear them in lieu of sandals in the summertime. Does anyone know of another brand, moderately priced, in this style?

Thanks!

Bernie Mev is a quality comfort shoe that is a good price. Look on Zappo's or Online shoes.com. They don't have the memory foam to the extent that Sketches does but very comfortable. I also like Cobb Hill made by New Balance and Earth. They are more expensive.

Hi, Judy--I actually had a pair of Bernie Mev last year. We have a great shoe store that will allow you to take shoes home, wear them around the house and then return them if they don't suit. I LOVED the Bernie Mev but they didn't love my high arch.

I'm off to check out the Cobb Hill. Thanks!!

I wear Soft Walk shoes. They have a memory foam insole and are great. I bought the first pair at Nordstrom's years ago. Local Nordstroms has a limited style in the store now, so I look on Nordstroms online. You may be able to find them on other online sites, but I have worn them on every trip to Europe and at home for a long time.

I have always had to wear athletic shoes on our European trips. I wanted a change and found Clarks Wave Walk shoes. With plantar fasciitis I can't wear most shoes. These Clark shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and they look better than an athletic shoe. I would highly recommend them for travel. Clarks have many types of shoes.

Cobb Hill has a medium arch. I cannot wear those really defined arch. I had forgotten about the Softwalk which has like an egg crate foot bed. I have never been able to wear those because they run very wide. It really is a case of finding the right brand. You may have to just have one pair and spend a little more. I like my sketchers, but they wear out a lot faster so the price kind of equals out in the end.

I see Zappos carries the SoftWalk. I may give them a try. Thank you!

I have three pairs of Clarks, including sandals, and while they are comfortable, they are not something I would want to walk several miles in. I have such a hard time finding comfy shoes, it is very discouraging!

Actually, I should say that I am looking for something I can wear without socks. That's what attracted me to the Skechers. I used to wear cheap, dollar-store espadrilles when I was much younger but can't do it anymore.

Bzees are very comfy and cute. Unfortunately they don't fit wide feet well, so had to send them back. If you are a narrow or medium, it's well worth a try.

Try 6pm.com, I find them a bit cheaper than zappos

Fly Londons are my favorite; they are comfortable and I can wear them for 12 to 14 hours, walk for miles, without socks. Ylva is my favorite style of Fly London.

I love Grasshoppers. Have worn them all over Europe and so comfortable.
