Anyone have experience with this brand? Local shoe store salesperson swears by them. Tried on woven pair with nubby bottoms. They were comfy. Between these and a pair of Merrills.
Love mine. Only shoes I wear when I travel. So comfortable and can walk all day in them. On my third pair!
I am by no means an experts on shoes. I need a good supporting shoe for travel so this would not be a shoe for me. I have several pairs for back and forth to work. I sit all day so they are good for low activity for me. Good luck!
I like Merrills a lot. The support my feet well and last a long time.
Love my Bernie's very comfortable. The only problem I have and have heard about from others who wear them is because of the elastic sometimes you can slip out of the shoe and twist an ankle. Because of this I am looking for something different for heavy duty walking. But for work and casual wear - fantastic.
I will probably take a pair of COMFI Bernie Mevs as my extra pair this summer when I travel. I have used them for urban walking, but would not use them for any kind of country hiking/walking.
I love the Bernie Mevs. They have a good grip and allow plenty of room for my wide feet. They are supportive and so far have maintained their elasticity.
I just returned from over three months traveling throughout Europe and Asia. I saw lots of travelers wearing Bernie Mev shoes. My only concern is how appropriate they are in very rainy weather. I suspect most Merrills are going to be better in heavy rain.
