Asics for 2wk trip to Italy?

Hi!

I recently bought a pair of Asics Gel Nimbus 27 for our 2 week trip to Italy in October. (We will be touring Venice, italian riveria, Bolzano, florance, assisi and rome)
I alao own Ascis Gel nimbus 26 for work and LOVE how comfortable they are.

My only concern is the traction, they aren't hiking traction but there is a little bit.
Has anyone else worn these shoes to italy?

I also plan on bringing a pair of Van's ultrarange and teva hurricane sandals.

Thanks!

Asics makes great shoes and I have been wearing them and Mizuno's for running and daily use.
The Gel Nimbus is indeed a road running shoe. Since you are going to Bolzano, I suppose you are going to hike in the Dolomites? Where exactly are you planning to visit?
There are trails of various difficulties -- some require hiking boots.

We haven't talking about what we plan on doing in each location.
Neither of us are big hikers so we don't plan on doing much hiking, mostly sight seeing. If we do end up hiking we will likely stick to the easy ones.

Yes, I’ve worn Asics Gel Nimbus to Italy multiple times and they were fine, no problems with traction.
