Adriatic tour in September

I’m looking for suggestions for shoes for my two week tour. I will be bringing water shoes, Tom’s sandals for light walking but am wondering about another pair days that we will be doing a lot of walking. I have a pair of Ecco soft 7 or OBO hiking shoes. Thoughts? Would sneakers be better? I hear good things about New Balance 574. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I brought my typical Keen Rose style protected toes sandal on that tour in 2023 - actually for the whole month because my husband & I did two weeks in England & Wales pre-tour. Those sandals were perfect, and the sole was excellent for the Plitvice beautiful waterfall hike, etc. i wear those during the day and occasionally change into a pair of flats for dinner or a concert.

Have a great time!

About your water shoes - I just bought a cheap pair on Hvar Island and used them there and left them at Korcula. …in case you don’t want to be carrying them during your whole trip.

There is lots of walking on any RS tour, and for me that calls for a supportive walking shoe with a grippy sole. A sneaker (like a Keds?) won't do the trick. Your feet may vary.
