We'll have just one night in Brussels before we fly out to Venice and it looks like the best options for flights will be out of Brussels International. Does anyone have a recommendation for a neighborhood to look for accommodations that would make our trip to the airport the next morning simple enough? We don't plan on taking a super early flight so we'll have some flexibility.

We've stayed at NH Brussels Grand Place Arenberg (Rue d’Assaut 15) an easy walk from the central train station (took a train from the airport), just a block away from the Cathedral, and not a bad walk at all to the Grote Markt. Very good location if either wanting to get to or from the station in a hurry. Nice and clean, and friendly desk.

We stayed right off the Grand Place at the Hotel Floris Arlequin Grand Place last week..Short walk to the Grand Place short walk to Centraal Station with an easy train to the airport. We had a spacious room for European big city standards and a nice breakfast. Just remember at brussels you go through security twice. Once when you get off the train to enter the terminal and again to go out to your gate, so account for a little extra time.

Really, any lodging close to the railway station (and there are lots of them) will give you easy airport access.

Not a stupid question! yes we just booked the flight and it is out of BRU. We decided to stay near the central train station.
